So our east side asters…confound me. How to tell the difference between Engelmanns & Cascade? (Eucephalus Ledophylla) I routinely see asters (Yakima Cty) at mid elevations & also alpine ex Chinook Pass. iNat doesn’t help. There are literally the same plants ID’d as both of these on there.

Look at WCAG guidelines for accessibility on contrast, typeface and font size. Italics are harder to read for some people. There are free tools online to check. I didn't get the sun/shade and wet/dry matrix at first, but it made sense when I looked closer. I think the color threw me off.
