meanwhile, muyu would never drug changhe himself, but he doesn't see anything wrong with pressuring changhe to accept his help. he literally has no morals when it comes to changhe's life (closing my eyes to the bad end in the other timeline)

part of the reason is bc he believes he would hold muyu back, and he doesn't want that on his conscience. so in that sense he's relieved when smy takes the choice away from him. but this remains imperfect bc it wasn't smy who drugged him, so he couldn't be sure that smy completely wanted this either

i think changhe believes that it's definitionally impossible for muyu to noncon him, and my fic is partly about how this plays out. i think it's complicated bc pre-ep 10 changhe isn't really ready to accept the vulnerability of being in a relationship with muyu. he would LIKE to be but he isn't
