Every single person I know who went no contact with a parent (including me) made that choice after a long, fraught process of trying to call them in. I have my own life to live, and I don't want to waste any more of it on someone who is draining my spirit.

I gave some Grade 11 students a tour of the exhibit this week. It was so gratifying to watch people engage with the exhibit and have “ah ha!” moments. Very proud of this exhibit.

I remain truly fascinated by the people who seem to be able to hold two contradictory opinions about genAI. It's bad but it's good. It's ethically dubious but we can be responsible with it. We don't want kids to use it but we have to teach them how to use it.

The person who doesn’t get your reference isn’t stupid, you are old now and your references are old. Why are you expecting a 25 year old to have your media diet? Honestly one of the worst parts of aging is watching your peers become your most annoying uncle.
