This post inspired me to write. It probably won’t ring out, but I want to try.

People change, some more than others. Because the world is constantly changing. We’ve had a pandemic, and attempts to overthrow the government, another an ongoing attempt to overthrow the government… things that used to dominate my time and mind seemed very trivial now, I can’t fake passion.

If this country can course correct, I suspect a lot of passions will return. But some probably won’t. It’s hard for me to envision becoming a big fan of CFB again, then again I never would have thought I could ever care so little about it either. CFB is just another form of oligarchy right now

Ha, that is kind of you. I could think of about 100 different podcast ideas I'd love to do someday, and with Marc, and talking college sports doesn't make the top 100 lol. Once our country can pull itself out of this dystopian fever dream it's in, I would definitely give it some thought.

One really great Gen X topic is Star Wars departure point. I was in 8th grade when when Return came out and I remember thinking “Wow, there are a lot of little kids in here.” I felt more at home at Cheech and Chong’s “Nice Dreams.” I was and am still done with Star Wars.
