sometimes i wonder if i made a mistake, but the art i make now is definitely art i love more. i dont mind making fanart, its a lot of fun and good for business, i just dont wanna be primarily considered a 'fanart artist' in a way where my original art is very conflicting

the reason i stopped is it just..wasnt who i wanted to be as an artist. i was really getting nailed down into being a cutesy family friendly disney artist and that is not who i am at heart. i think i could have made a /lot/ more money if id stayed that course and started branching into other merch

the amount of money i was making on patreon in 2019-2020 was wild, that was when i was doing all those fanart prints and stickers. it was fun, and ive never seen money like that on patreon since then. if i made that amount now ohhhh man. things would be different
