Every time I criticised Starmer and Reeves about this, people on social media piled in, saying "what do you want, Reform to get in?" No, I just wanted what most people want: a govt we can trust, that responds to voters not corporate lobbyists, that improves our lives and protects the living world.

Not sure where you are based (country), but I worked with the Green Party on an AI Strategy (ongoing) and part of that is something similar to what you suggest. Also an AI 'tax' on usage to oiffset tax loss and a four day, or less, working week on a comparavle salary.
