PoC is a perfectly acceptable term so long as you don't use it *exclusively* to refer to Black people. Its a catch all term used to describe not white people, and because of the historical way white people have treated them its a useful term to have Just don't use it *instead* of what the person is

That’s not true, a lot of POC are called that unfortunately. Source: I have a lot of POC of different backgrounds who all have been called ‘monkey’ or ‘ape’ before. It’s not just a black issue (even if it is a case for this particular post)
