The Society of Authors has withdrawn from the ill-conceived concession to the dark side that was the "ethical GenAI" charter because of the mass and vocal outrage of authors. Publishers need to be made afraid of this level of anger too.

Click the middle button at the bottom, then "Content Controls" under Settings. You'll find "AI Contributions" there. Click in to it to make changes.

There is no such thing as the ethical application of a plagiarism machine. There is no ethical application of a tool that is built on stolen work, stolen knowledge, stolen art and stolen words. There is no ethical application of an industry that is eating our world, our governments, our selves.
