My surname is probably Norman via Scottish. What ethnicity am I, exactly? I imagine I am the kind of person they are thinking of as "ethnically English" but if anything, I'm "ethnically British", surely? The whole thing is a facade of "common sense" bullshit to make the racism go down easier. 2/2
