This is every bit as much of a “purity test” as any demand that a candidate not abandon fascist-targeted humans for a specious hope of political advantage. It’s just that accommodation of fascism is so ingrained as the default posture that it doesn’t register as such to people like this.

It's a disingenuous use of the word skeptic, as the word doesn't denote a single minded lack of acceptance, but a lack of acceptance of claims without evidence. Vaccines remain the safest, efficacious, and most cost effective treatment regime of diseases in human history, because of the evidence.
