Next Fest was already a bit of a pointless exercise for 90% of devs. Now the AI slop has made it entirely pointless for 99% of devs I don’t really know what Valve can do about this, but I think it’s fair to say that we pay them well enough, that it would be nice if they’d bloody do *something*

Women are writing some of the biggest books at Marvel and DC, in particular I think of Kelly Thompson on ABSOLUTE WONDER WOMAN and Stephanie Phillips on DAREDEVIL. Right near the top of the charts in each case month after month after month. Amazing stories, critical acclaim. I love it so much.

In 2017 Universal wanted to start their cinematic "Dark Universe" with a Mummy movie. During the production I was chosen as background artist for a companion game, developed in just 8 months crunch. The movie wasn't just bad but considered worst movie of the year which destroyed the games sales.
