Walked through town ON MY OWN and didn't have a wobble 💪. If anyone reading this is having an awful time with panic disorder and/or autistic burnout, I hope you can take some hope from my experience. Recovery takes a very, very long time and it's not linear by any means, but it is possible.

Show PostThe whole conf industry is just another way of extracting £ and perpetuating exclusion. There are some organised by people who care abou attendees and the environment, L+ being a notable example, but they're rare. That amount of travel is not necessary and frankly academia should be embarrassed.
