On last week’s trip to LA we stayed in Boyle Heights. It reminded me so much of the Mission in SF before gentrification. Predominantly Spanish-speaking. Mostly independent shops with fronts right at the street. So many handmade signs! Here are a few goodies. More: www.flickr.com/photos/stewf...
