@judgejohnhodgman.bsky.social finishing the last of 4 shows at Union Hall with @jeanofthegraes.bsky.social and @joshgondelman.bsky.social- there were stories, songs, music, photos of a Hodgman family trip to Disney, and a joke at my expense! I loved every minute of it and fun was had by all!

Hodgman used to sometimes write about drinks for Men's Journal, I believe it was. He was among the crew I put together to go and find Jerry Thomas's grave at Woodlawn, back in, like, 2004. Julie Reiner, Toby Cecchini, Audrey Saunders, Allen Katz and Del Pedro were among the others. Del found him.

Pulling out boxes of comics from my closet and flipping through them, seeing the covers of books that have - in some cases - delighted me for decades, is its own unique kind of joy. It's such a visceral reaction and recall from that image to a story, and quite a buzz.
