Imho a very concerning aspect of the nuclear triad is it guarantees a reprisal attack to any nuclear aggression. MIRVs, Cruise Missiles, SLBM depressed trajectories and hypersonic advances make nuclear war a losing prospect for everyone involved....and they/we know this truth. Not more missiles.
