All his characters were initially satirical characters sent in to improv situations like a sociological Jackass and now the character’s aren’t satirical or relevant AND he’s too well known to wrangle interviews with celebs who don’t know him. Who or what is this for? (Paying for a divorce?)

Ali G's schtick was - to put it *very* kindly - rooted in the specific multicultural anxieties of 90s Britain. Those anxieties have now been supplanted by other - in many cases worse, but all quite different - tropes/clichés. The "white guy who attempts patois, sounds like Tarzan" isn't one of them.
