Like I know my personal usage is light and unimportant, but... like in 2024 I tried to get it to slice my comics to prep for instagram. It took 10+ minutes and worked half the time, on easily sliceable comics. Now people are asking it to make music videos and they're good after a one-shot.
Show PostTo me it's like those late 19th century people who would go to a cinema and just watch video of trains going by and be astonished. I'm them now. I'm watching a machine do stuff with my cursor because I instructed it to with a phone. I walk in the woods and it updates me. Astonishing.
Show PostThis is stupid, but as of a few weeks ago, it is possible to have Claude take over my cursor, pull up clipstudio, and font my comics. I have to make minor adjustments, but it saves me a decent amount of time on uncreative work. But I don't save time because I just stare.

People just aren't ready for how much things are going to get disrupted. Even the Highly Online people can barely think further ahead than "techbros are dumb". (Which they are.) There are still entire populations who have never interacted with a chatbot, or think minimum wage is plenty.
