Went to New York a few months after the elections. The only reason we went is because everything was already paid for. Having to tell your kids to remove all their social media apps on their phones before boarding the plane was not how I imagined my first trip to 'the land of the free' would start.

I live in a beach town. Less visitors this summer (usually all US residents). High costs kept them away. Which meant lower employment. Add that to the US bad reputation and it spells disaster. 2025 spending was only like 1.3% increase from 2024. Don’t expect good numbers when 2026 data is published
