First drafts of scenes usually revolve around dialogue and bare bones action and description. My first manuscript was too long and this WIP is too short because I overindexed on making it not too long.

Still not done yet, but It's really messy haha. Lots of dropped plot points, things I forgot, etc. It is also shaping up to be longer than planned.

What does the very first version of your work usually look like? Mine used to be 30k words longer than it should be. Now I have to go back in and add details and some backstory #writingq #WritingCommunity
