For lack of more diplomatic words, this is silly framing. Our demented despot has no power to change the name of a state, so this should be reported as clinically pathological behavior. It’s also part of a pattern of Treason, albeit a frivolous one. Defacing maps and signage is a form of sabotage.

Prop 45 winning would *empower* the proponents of sprawl. Winning campaigns make their backers stronger and more influential, not weaker. No political space is ever cleared up by letting your opponents win! Policy aside this is just how the world works!
