A UBI only for X group is not UBI And I agree, most people do need to work/create/build Which is why the thought that if we take away the implicit threat of homelessness and death that people will suddenly no longer want to do those things is so silly

Bury My Heart at Wounded Knee is probably the best overview of the whole extermination. I read it in my 20s after a long road-trip around the NW States: Idaho, Wyoming, Montana, Washington, Oregon. I knew some of the places, but more importantly the vista and the scale.
Show PostI’m not aware of a single source. Timeline is 1620 – the founding of the Plymouth Colony – to some time before 1776 – date of US independence. Much of it centres around the slave trade and gradual breakdown of relations with natives, usually met by extermination. e.g. Pequot War, King Philip's War.
