Now you’ve made them feel like they must consent or else it means they don’t really love you. And that if they say no, you’ll think they don’t love you. And so they will consent just because they love you, even if they don’t want to.

before you say “I need sex in order to feel loved by my partner” ask yourself why your partners’ other actions and their words aren’t enough for you. I see this sentiment so often when ppl talk about marriage issues, and it’s normalized but it sounds so manipulative to me.
