I do think the beards and diamonds icons are too similar and that the beard is least distinct. Agreed with another comment about tying it to braids maybe, which symbolize unity in general. Imo the braid could be in the beard or maybe just a separate braid icon?

It seems like two different problems, right? Are the icons distinct enough? Do beards read as a beard? Obviously the first is the critical one for usability reasons.
