Honestly the highlight of my summer was the CEO of a hardware company who provided some product asking me (politely) "Why the hell is a clinical psychologist doing biomarker validation?" Cheers to hoping the Dean doesn't ask the same question 🍻

As a traditional epistemologist (i.e., someone too lazy to learn maths), I'm heartened that so many of my colleagues don't care about base rate neglect when deciding whether to use Pangram to flag AI-assisted plagiarism. Let's all just trust our seemings/vibes and punish accordingly
