My most middle aged old man take but on some level it seems obvious every guy coming out as 'poly' in middle age is basically just a dude who is sort of openly saying "or I'm just going to cheat" and they've lucked into a point in American history where that angle doesn't instantly vilify you.

Hey, as a politics-knower, do you have any idea why I would get 90% conservative mailers? I'm in 53208, which is hardly a swing area. Every day I get anti-Crowley cards. Are they just betting on "middle aged white guy"? I should ask my neighbors in the building (who are almost all Black/Latino). 🤔
