It's giving me the Metroidvania satisfaction of exploring and dealing with enemies while also offering those Outer Wilds-like revelations and discoveries. The movement gets surprisingly fun, and I'm such a sucker for consistent systemic game design. All the different creatures are so interesting.

There have been points in Rain World that have been extremely frustrating. Being stuck in an area, dying over and over again from confusing controls and deadly enemies, no idea where I'm going or what my goal is. But then I make big progress and it all just clicks. It all starts to pay off.

On one hand, I'm very against "spoiler culture", where every tiny little thing is some big deal that you should never spoil. But on the other hand, there are certain pieces of art that *really* truly benefit from not knowing anything beforehand. I LOVE that feeling of shock/awe at a new discovery.

I literally search his name when it popped saying he didn't want his old videos uploaded because he isn't proud of them and doesn't represent him anymore, one of the uploaders literally says that as well.
