Number 6/7 in the Tarkovsky retrospective at @glasgowfilmtheatre.bsky.social with Nostalghia tonight. I have not actually seen this one before, so looking forward to this. In a crowded field this has been described as "his most opaque film" so there's that.

Yesterday I went to a sold-out afternoon screening of Andrei Tarkovsky's STALKER at @glasgowfilmtheatre.bsky.social (in GFT1, the big screen). I was expecting maybe 50% full at a push but clearly Glasgow loves Soviet cinema.

The Andrei Tarkovsky retrospective at @glasgowfilmtheatre.bsky.social continues with Solaris today. I love this film. I love the original book by Stanisław Lem, I love the soundtrack by Eduard Artemyev. Looking forward to this. (It's on again tomorrow, Monday 14th)
