We should get rid of all and any cause of rape. Alcohol, pubs, clubs, bars, all venues should be banned. Women should dress in burkas and escorted by male relatives at all times. Men should all have chastity harnesses to stop erections. (I'm being sarcastic if anyone missed it. )

This is a dreadful incident but due process like in any carnival investigation must be followed or we end up with a rule of the jungle and ‘Ice like’ judge and jury types from all groups of society implementing their own version of the law.
