It turns out that Centuri's clone "Eagle", several bootlegs and the rare "Super Moon Cresta" display the phrase, but other licensed releases still don't. So the memory is real - just not from the original Moon Cresta. Makes you wonder how just how many bootleg cabinets were floating around. Weird.

"MAKE ROCKETS DOCK" is in the game's code, but a typo prevents it from appearing. The instruction `ld de,$3CE5` loads its address, but the code returns without calling the text display function. Restoring the missing call with a debugger gives us this - but doesn't explain why people remember it.

[me when i have to meaningfully engage with the game]: wow maybe don't do that?? it's so weird that the current game climate on all spectrums is a desire for a falsehood, the feeling of being guided to feel smart over being smart and learning what to do. i have a permanent beef with UX designers
