A harsher punishment makes the resolution harder to achieve. He probably made a bad decision while drunk, and i was smiling and trying to keep it chill because I didn’t want a scene. I’d feel safer if I knew that was not going to happen again on his account, and he deserves the chance to be better

I say this not to muddy the waters. SA is SA. Rape is Rape. No means no and I said “I’m leaving now” and he tried to make me stay. What he did to me was SA and it was wrong yet, if I saw him in a bar, what I’d do is tell him what he did was wrong and why, and probably he’d feel bad and apologize

It’s ofc very possible that this man has at some point been SA’d himself. Trans men absolutely are still trans and are still victimized, so in my mind that’s highly likely There are no perfect victims, and by the same token there are no perfect victimizers. Those are roles the same person can play
