I feel like my goal is to be less connected online. I adore this fandom and I love you all, but maybe the fact i care this much and let anxiety guide me is the sign I should just leave everyone alone. It’s your show to discuss and absorb. I don’t blame ANYONE for their feelings, opinions or even criticisms. I just don’t like things being in bad faith but that’s basically unavoidable online, I’m starting to become a creator afraid of the discourse and I really have weathered it all this time.

I wasn’t trying to start discourse. I wanted if anything to express a bit of insight and temper expectations. It’s a vulnerable thing to do but at this point with characters who matter it feels precautionary so I don’t have to endure something later.

I truly feel an oweness and anxiety for people who relate to or feel seen in Angel, but it’s hard to have his story reflect everyone. He is still his own character and I put a lot of my own messy struggle into him. I want to do right by him as he is and hopefully will.
