I think it's neat that humans will always re-invent a fairy otherworld where the rules don't make sense and nobody knows where you got lost to for impossible time the fairies live in dead malls now

Every generation has horror that seems to reflect every day anxieties, in the 19th century it was withering aristocrats in old mansions, in the 80s it was serial killers and demons, now it's empty offices and dead malls. Probably not a coincidence it takes place in the basement of a failing business
