Imo Hipkins hasn't handled the issue of gangs well & overreacted. It may cost the election. Leoni's paid a big price. Hipkins also threw Michael Wood under the bus for $13000 in shares when other Nat MPs like Key & Bayly held onto theirs with no repercussions.

Being tough on organised crime is one thing; stepping on the throats of whānau who have been shut out of power, and for the most part out of the services the state is supposed to provide, is another, and anyone who wants to govern Aotearoa should know the difference.
