I was treated like an idiot and not believed at work today. Being black and a woman, this is not even remotely new. Sometimes I’m able to regroup quickly. Other times, the satisfaction of knowing you’re correct is not enough and it really hurts. I did stand up for myself, but it’s been a rough day.

Ed starfish flopping on the bed to air himself out because it’s so hot and he has to physically peel his balls off his thighs and when he does he feels some sweat trickle down the join where thigh meets torso. He groans a particular groan and Stede yells “Ball sweat again?” from the other room.
