The bridge between "some professions require access to social media for their work either to gain an audience or to dispense valuable info to that audience" and "many platforms inherently serve power" may only be "more co-op platforms", which many of us are obviously not in control of.

In fact, I layer my procrastination by writing short fiction, criticism, etc. in a regressive series -- in order to not tackle the novel that's currently at 95 single-spaced pages and rotting slowly on my hard drive. Works like a charm.
