The museum itself is also fantastic! I have a membership and went earlier in the year to check out the new This Is Native Land exhibit. Yes the only reason I have a membership is because of the model train festival lol

Show PostYes, the hatchery is for farmed products. But the first step of salmon recovery is education and I think this is a fantastic spot to start.
Show PostI would not be here today raising awareness about salmon without them. They do local educational outreach in elementary schools and have a whole Salmon Days festival to raise awareness about these little fishy friends.
