one thing that has always puzzled me, perhaps as a deeply introverted person, is why so many people want Communities online. specifically like: artists or book reviewers having their own discords **about their work.** I don't want a discord where people talk about Me and Things I Do. that's weird!

I'm gonna be a pathetic worm and admit that I actually enjoy comments on my work. It makes me smile, gives me hope, feeds me validation and keeps me trucking. No one owes me a comment. But it sure makes a difference. Posting on socmed is very isolating and I often feel disconnected to the world.
