Nothing about the USA is Christian. Love thy neighbor, turn the other cheek, forgive and you will be forgiven, the good samaritan (love and kindness beyond social boundaries)... Most Americans are Protestants, influenced by Calvinism and the kind of materialistic views the Puritans brought along.

I've since given up using their own supposed holy text as a reference for any morality, because let's be honest they don't care what's in it. The modern American evangelical church is a cult and nothing more. Jesus IRL would already be arrested by ICE and Christians today would cheer it on.
