IDK who needs to hear this but the "you have to adjust for inflation" bit isn't the zinger you think it is. Because you'd also have to adjust for inflation in shelter, utilities, medical, insurance, f%&(ing food - and then you'd realize purchasing power has fallen as wage growth hasn't kept up.

Also, the pricing for Yoshi and the Mysterious Book is farcical. $40, maybe $50 tops. $60/$70 feels too high. Plus, they’re using the game as a way to push buyers further into digital sales by charging an additional $10 for the physical version, as they did with Mario Kart World.

If Nintendo was offering the Switch 2 performance+resolution upgrades at no charge, and the Super Mario Bros. Wonder DLC was $5, maybe even $10, THEN I would consider paying for it. As usual, though, $20 is entirely too steep for a package that I feel looks meager at best. Just not that compelling.
