between the two of those, i no longer can set up my own medications for the week independently, take all my meds on my own without external reminders more than just my phone, do my own laundry, wash my own dishes, process things internally without therapy/counseling, easily make a sandwich…

plus for many people, the ability to do so is finite. it's drawing from a fixed budget, & eventually the budget runs out, & thus goes autistic burnout, skill loss, masking loss, et cetera. i had fewer support needs in my 20s than i do now, & that's ignoring the needs that are because of long covid.
