Jealous of people who can play games and read books after work. Haven’t been able to do it since getting into programming proper: exhausts some part of the brain that’s needed for the active parts of reading and playing. Best I can do is stare at a Twitch stream.

Doing some rough UI layout tests. Was sure I’d prefer clustering the UI in the corners because there it occludes the game less. But nope! Having it all together and along a single axis feels so much better. Quicker to scan, less cognitive load. #gamedev

Working on a new creature: It's currently re-using the movement logic of the previous "fly", so it's very stupid. It uses a single ray cast to find and validate foot holds. This just the first test but I'm already liking it. #screenshotsaturday #godotengine #gamedev
