Show Postdirectly benefit from the Moda Center and most can’t even afford to attend the events there these days. Meanwhile the billionaires that own these places are raking in profits. Maybe the local bars near the center benefit and some hotels, but I don’t see the benefit to taxpayers aside from bar

The owner doesn’t want to contribute anything to the upgrades because he has the investment in the team. So tax payers foot the bill but taxpayers don’t
