Mom's gone. I think she held out for today cause a lot of our family were gonna come over to have a big meal. She wasn't able to talk or be awake but she was more calm as we were all talking, until she passed quietly. Thank you all for your past support and future. My family has been very grateful

As Health Director for Wayne County, we put vending machines with free Narcan and fentanyl test strips in 100 locations. We hoped to make even a small dent in offsetting the opioid epidemic that Mike Rogers made even worse by voting with the pharmaceutical industry his entire career in Congress.

There's a local mid-Michigan casino advertising the band Chicago as entertainment. Checked how many of their original members are part of this iteration of Chicago -- one. It makes sense, I'm old, they were older. I'm steeling myself to seeing many members of the bands I loved as a teen passing on.
