Did You put a frame rate limit in the Unity Configuration? Unity always try to go the faster they can if you don't put a limit. This is the main reason for the games/apps in Unity to burn the GPUs

Already looking into it! Asset Forge is built using Unity, so it's more fair to compare it with running a game versus running super optimized software like Blender. It'll never reach that kind of performance, but I'm also just 1 developer instead of thousands :)
