My window cleaner is so insanely hot I've encouraged my toddler to be fascinated by the window cleaning process so I can carry them from room to room watching him clean. It's really just so I can look at the beautiful man myself. It's my favourite day of the month.

I have no idea what I should do with my eyes at the dentists, closing them would be weird, but looking at them is weird too, I sort of look off to other side and up which is probably odd too.

Doing English GCSE In the '80s we had to interview a non-family member as coursework. I did one with a local binman who my teacher said sounded very interesting and gave me a B for it. Thing is, he never existed. I didn't want to do an interview so made the whole thing up.

Turned vegetarian in my 30s, kept it up for 4 years with no temptation to cheat, even though my wife still regularly cooked and ate meat. My eventual downfall - we got a cat and the smell of Whiskas every morning broke me.

I grew up in a part of Cornwall where large areas were fenced off with warning signs about collapsing tin mines. I used to have nightmares of the whole county breaking off from Devon and floating towards Brittany. My main concern was that I was already 10 and knew no French.
