I have now passed the 75 mile marker on my Walk 100 Miles in October challenge for Ovarian Cancer Action. I’m proud of this, as it includes two days where I only hobbled half a mile each due to a sprained ankle. www.justgiving.com/fundraising/...

lastly: breaking my ankle and being so limited in what I could do for several months changed my entire perspective on life. It’s also why I bought this button that I now rock on my purse that says “everyone will be disabled at some point in their life.” I take my freedom a lot less for granted now.
