The only real constraints in Florida are lightning and heat stroke, so as long as you have a way to manage staying cool in hot weather riding is year round. Where I am only gets below freezing once or twice a year, so cold isn't a consideration.

I considered the Icon Mesh AF when I was looking for jackets, but RevZilla had the Dainese Hydroflux 2 on closeout for the same price, and having a snap in rain liner along with the mesh was a pretty big selling point for riding in Florida

I've got broad shoulders so fitting those is my number one priority. My last jacket was a women's Scorpion Exo jacket where all the reviews complained that the shoulders were too broad, the one I just got is a men's Dainese because their women's line has a curvier cut but the shoulders are narrow.
