So slow am I to steep in all the misgivings of society that, when something so innocuous is said in light heart, do phrases such as "one of the boys" wriggles into my consciousness over some number of months, forces me to reexamine the whole of societal existence itself!

As if my low brow, immature jokes, and laid back nature could possibly transform my gender more easily than the trans community, who daily sacrifice their lifetime of misaligned gender entirely at threat of continuing to safely breathe and exist -- both socially and literally.
