I hate that I see this all the time from people I thought were cool too. everyone’s (rightfully) all “pick up a pencil” until someone actually tries to do that and you just punish them for it. do you want people to try or not?

I would also be terrified of learning to draw if I grew up using twitter. like when I was a teen on deviantart I still got rude comments a lot, but there was’t really the possibility for literally thousands of people deciding to dogpile me directly for sharing art while not already being good at it
