My kids asked me “didn’t you have active shooter drills” and I said no, we just had fire drills. That’s a conversation that never should have occurred.

Yes! I hate when they sit there and praise the person who had a gun to shoot back. Like the shooting at the In and Out. They went on and on about the civilian teaming up to take down the shooter. Replaying different angles and like it was a mini movie about them and zero about the real issue of guns

Fuck, the Bend shooting is heartbreaking. I used to teach kindergarten there, and thinking of kids like them really puts a face to it. Horrifying
